Inspiration..
As most of us know our childhood contributes to how we grow and become individuals of society. Well I hope I can instill good values and morals into Wyatt and when he comes to the cross roads of life he makes his own path. Obviously I wish I could protect him from all the hurt in the world but eventually he will be out there and I can only hope that he has a good compass to know his way home no matter where he has been and I'll always be there for him. I want him to know he creates his own destiny and when things get tough he can change his course one step at a time, and that life is precious and slowing down to "smell the roses" is a good thing. He should know what's meant to really be will be and you can't force anything to happen. I want him to be a leader but also when needed to be a follower. And most of all to love! Love is stronger than any evil and can get you through the heartaches of life. It's when you close your heart and allow the hurt to settle that we become bitter and guarded and lose the ability to love. I know he will have his share of heartache but I hope he can learn to get off the ground and work for what he believes in paving his own path in life.

...
Okay so I've just stated this blog and I'm already slacking! I try to keep this one all about Wyatt so I've started another blog for me and of course things about Wyatt are in it too- I mean he is my life but I'm lacking ideas for this one.. He is still dealing with some ear and digestive issues but is fearless as can be! Not much is really that new yet! He is still the sweetest little brat you've ever met and terrorizing the dogs! The weather has been crappy so we've been stuck inside and he doesn't like that!! He crawls to the back door wanting out to play so hopefully it gets nice soon! This weekend we will be going to Charlotte to visit our awesome friends Mel and Kristen! If you have any suggestions for blogs or want to know anything feel free to ask and I'll be happy to answer :) Hope everyone has a good week!

Headbutt nation.
I have created a monster!! OKAY so the picture is adorable and it's only a love tap headbutt here but now he not only does this with me which because I'm use to it and know how to angle my head to not get busted in the nose it doesn't bother me but now to everyone or everything!! My mom got caught of guard and he headbutted the crap outta her and bruised her nose. HILARIOUS? yes! right? not so much.. And then we were at the doctor and he started hitting his head on the wall EMBARRASSING! And this time it left a bruise on his head. Crazy kid!! But to top all this off we are outside enjoying this gorgeous weather we've been having playing bubbles and chalk and because he isn't up walking yet he is crawling around out back.. Well we have a concrete slab as our "porch" so I'm sure you can guess where this is going but YEP he starts headbutting the freaking concrete!! I don't want to give him a complex or scare him but I also don't want to take him in for a MRI cause he keeps bashing his head! I know it's a playful thing and he doesn't mean it to hurt (most of the time) and it's his way of exploring but I don't want him to end up hurting himself :/ any suggestions on how to break this oh-so cute but oh-so wrong habit?

A mothers strength.

I'm sure I've said it before and I'll say it again being a mother changes you. It gives you strength you never knew you had. It's a love that can never be replaced or duplicated. It is heartache when you're not the one suffering. Happiness when you're not the one laughing. And accomplishment when you're not the one make new advances in life. Being a mother means giving more than you thought you had but receiving more than you thought was possible. And most importantly it's a learning experience! Some of the best lessons aren't taught in classrooms but by our children. Even before Wyatt was born he was teaching me and changing me. Maybe we have children to find ourselves rather than shape tomorrows society. I guess lately Wyatt has taught me strength in more ways than one, restraint from letting the "quick on my toes smart mouth" out, courage to do what needed to be done despite the difficulty of the results, and forgiveness for myself. I AM strong because I have to be for him and that is what matters.
