I'm sure I've said it before and I'll say it again being a mother changes you. It gives you strength you never knew you had. It's a love that can never be replaced or duplicated. It is heartache when you're not the one suffering. Happiness when you're not the one laughing. And accomplishment when you're not the one make new advances in life. Being a mother means giving more than you thought you had but receiving more than you thought was possible. And most importantly it's a learning experience! Some of the best lessons aren't taught in classrooms but by our children. Even before Wyatt was born he was teaching me and changing me. Maybe we have children to find ourselves rather than shape tomorrows society. I guess lately Wyatt has taught me strength in more ways than one, restraint from letting the "quick on my toes smart mouth" out, courage to do what needed to be done despite the difficulty of the results, and forgiveness for myself. I AM strong because I have to be for him and that is what matters.
Love this! So sweet and true! You have amazing strength, Dazel.
